Grenade attack in Jammu and Kashmir:

2 policemen and a civilian was injured on Thursday evening after suspected terrorists lobbed a grenade at a bus stand at Jammu BC road. 
Vivek Gupta,SSP Jammu told the media that," sound of the blast was heard during patrolling. Subsequently we came to know that two police personnel have been injured. Both of them are undergoing treatment. We are analysing and investigating the case".

In a separate incident, terrorists hurled a grenade near CRPF camp in Srinagar nawakadal area. No one was injured but some vehicles were damaged. 
On may 7 one CRPF personnel was injured after terrorist hurled a Grenade at Tahab chowk in Jammu and Kashmir Pulwama district. The granite was lobbed at police and CRPF personnel who were deployed at Tahab Chowk to maintain law and order. 
On may 4, terrorist hurled a grenade at a police station in Pulwama. The grenade exploded outside the police station and no one was injured in the incident. 
According to home ministry report, Jammu and Kashmir witnessed 166% more civilians fatalities due to militancy while there was a 42 percent rise in the number of terrorist neutralised in 2017 compared to the previous years. 
In a report of 2017-2018, said that since the advent of militancy in Jammu and Kashmir in 1990, a total 13976 civilians and 5123 security personnel have lost their life till December 31, 2017. In 2017 there were 342 violent incidents in Jammu and Kashmir in which 80 security personnel, 40 civilians and 213 terrorists were killed.
